Success for Club members in Donegal

Enda Haran and Patrick Corcoran leap to victory in class 12 and finish a very credible 17th O/A in the Donegal Harvest Rally 2012. After battling all day with the newly crowned Border Champion of 2012 Arthur Kearins, Enda dug deep and made one final push for the class win on the last stage ss9. He managed to finish the stage an incredible 14 seconds up on Arthur which ment the Sligo duo took the class honours by a mere second and clinched 17th O/A on the event.Other Sligo Finishers were:
Border Sponser Andrew Mullen and Elaine doherty 20th O/A 3rd in class 4
Andrews son Darragh Guided Mickey Conlon to 24th O/A
and Colin Currid with Adrian Foley along side finished 49th O/A
Autocross Goes In Reverse
Pending safety plan approval the next autocross to take place on the 9th of September, will see a complete change in direction in regards to track layout. Connacht Motorclub are delighted to announce this new feature after feedback from club members looking for changes to the current track layout to give it something "New", the biggest and boldest of all been a change of direction. Its hoped that this will give a new challenge to the event and keep the competion strong between the regular visitors and also to attract new faces to the event (whom are always more than welcome to join us).So get your entries in for what is shaping up to be a great event and we will see you there.
Midland Stages Rally 2012
A number of club members took part in the Midland stages rally on the 25th of march. Some even bringing home cyrstal on what turned out to be a super competitive day were the pace was unbelievable in the unusual for Ireland warm sunny day.Well done to:
